We are entering the final week of preparation. We've put up more than 400 posters and distributed more than 2000 post cards in Central Harlem to attract participants. We've also received more than 50 raffle prizes and lots of items for the gift bags. Since this is our first Community Health & Fitness Day, we have no idea how many people will come, but we expect large crowds based on the reaction we've received. We need your help to make this a first-rate experience for the community and for all our volunteers and partners. Not only will you be a part of this terrific event, but you'll also be joining alumni, family and friends in 40 cities who will also be addressing issues their communities as a part of Duke's mission to use knowledge in service to society.
