Piecing Together the Education Puzzle; A Conversation With Duke Women

The Duke New York Women's forum Continues it's series for alumnae in the NYC area to learn about and discuss topics of common interest in a fun and informal setting.

 Please join us on Thursday, May 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m. for a receptoin and conversation about the challenges facing America's education system (and New York's in particular.

Whether you work in the education field, are hoping to engage with Duke, or are simply interested in hearing more about topics ranging from what makes a successful teacher to the different educational approaches within the public, charter and private school communiteies, this event is for you! Come spend a thoughtful and enjoyable evening with five inspirational Duke women as we discuss their experiences and thoughts about piecing together the education puzzle.

The evening will begin and end with wine, food, and conversation.

The cost of this event is $35 for DCNY members, $45 for all others and $25 for 2008-2009 undergratduates. Space is limited; advance registration required.
