Duke NY - Anything Goes on Broadway
Event Title: | Duke NY - Anything Goes on Broadway Post-Show Talkback with Musical Director Rob Fisher '74 |
Date: | Apr 10, 2012 |
Time: | 7:00PM - 10:30PM ET |
Location: | Stephen Sondheim Theatre 124 West 43rd Street (between Broadway & Sixth Avenue) New York, NY 10036 |
Description: | Don’t miss your chance to see the Tony-winning Best Musical Anything Goes, featuring a post-show talkback exclusively available to Duke alums. Led by Musical Director Rob Fisher (’74), this discussion will include Tony-winner Joel Grey* (Cabaret). Join Duke NY on Tuesday, April 10, 7:00 p.m. for Broadway smash Anything Goes. As the SS American heads out to sea, two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love…proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail. Peppering this hilariously bumpy ride are some of musical theatre’s most memorable standards, including “I Get a Kick out of You,” “It’s Delovely,” and of course, “Anything Goes.” Our seats are in the Orchestra at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, located at 124 West 43rd Street (between 6th Avenue and Broadway). Tickets for this performance are $99 for Duke alumni dues-payers and $109 for all others. *pending Mr. Grey’s availability For additional information, click here. |
