Duke NY Women's Forum: Fuerta Bruza Off-Broadway Featuring a Special Private Reception with Members of the Cast
Join Duke alumnae and friends on Wednesday, October 19, 8:00 – 10:30 p.m. for the latest craze in New York City theater! Breaking free from the confines of spoken language and performance convention, Fuerta Bruza (Brute Force), from the Argentine creators of De La Guarda, is an event where worlds collide and reality takes a back seat. Described by the New York Post as “undeniably spectacular” and Variety as “an evening of jaw-dropping sensation and an eye-popping adventure,” Fuerza Bruta has brought out countless celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper, Usher, Beyoncé, Russell Brand, Pierce Brosnan, Isabella Rossellini, and many others!
Thie event is being held at the Daryl Roth Theatre, 101 East 15th Street at Park Avenue South
(off Union Square East).
The cost of this event, which includes the performance ticket and wine/dessert reception, is $40 for 2010-2011 Duke undergrads, $45 for dues payers and $50 for all others --- a great deal since tickets alone are generally $79!
