Share the joy of the holiday season with kids of Dunlevy Milbank at their annual holiday party on Saturday, December 17, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The children will enjoy presents courtesy of Duke alumni contributors (see December 9 Winter Wishes listing for additional information on how you can donate a Toys R Us gift card. The center director will turn the gift cards into toys, games, and other gifts for all the students.)

[Note: Dunlevy Milbank will be holding a coat drive during the holiday season. If you have gently used winter gear for donation, you can bring it to the center on December 17.]

Duke NY - Fuqua Holiday Cocktails

Duke NY Hoops Watch and Post-Game Party (NYC)

Join Duke alumni and friends for a post-game party at Stout following the Duke vs. Washington game at nearby Madison Square Garden. Our group will gather in the space in the cellar. For those who do not have tickets to the game, but who wish to gather to watch the game with other Dukies, join us in the main bar from 12:00 noon (tip) to watch the game on large screen TVs. Duke NY - Winter Wishes with Dunlevy Milbank - Participation Deadline

The holiday season is a special time of year for children, a time filled with excitement and anticipation. Sadly, however, many families do not have the means to purchase even the most basic holiday gift. To help make this a happy holiday, Duke NY will purchase Toys “R”Us gift cards in any amount (average is $50) for Dunlevy Milbank. The center director will turn the gift cards into toys, games, and other gifts for all the students. Gift cards can be bought at any Toys”R”Us store or log onto www.toysrus.com/giftCertificates. Ski Banff, Canada with Duke NY and Duke San Diego

Join Duke Alumni and friends from the New York and San Diego areas Thursday, February 16 – Tuesday, February 21, 2012 for Duke New York’s 14th Annual President’s Weekend Ski Trip as we head to another top ski resort in North America: Banff, Canada. Our special package price of $1515 includes RT airfare from LaGuardia to Calgary airport, RT transfers, 5 nights lodging at the Banff Caribou Lodge (double occupancy) in the quaint historic and picturesque town of Banff and 3 day lift tickets (4th day optional) valid at Mt. Duke NY - Study Now-Play Later with Dunlevy Milbank

Help keep kids off the street with this academic and athletic Saturday program in Harlem! Join Duke NY on Saturday, December 3, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Dunlevy Milbank Center, located at 118th Street between Fifth and Lenox Avenues, as we volunteer with the 7-11 year olds of Study Now-Play Later, a program designed to make learning and activities fun and motivating. After the morning session, volunteers are invited to join Duke NY for a local lunch in the neighborhood.

Duke NY - NYC Hoops Watch Kickoff

Celebrate the start of the Duke Men’s Basketball season with fellow alums on Tuesday, November 29, 9:00 - 11:30 (game time: 9:30 p.m.) at Brother Jimmy's BBQ in Union Square, as Duke takes on Ohio State in an exciting ACC/Big Ten Challenge! We will gather in our own private area and enjoy drink and food specials throughout the game - look for the Duke signs when you arrive. Duke NY - Volunteer at a Soup Kitchen

Help staff the soup kitchen and feed the hungry at St. John the Divine, Amsterdam Avenue at 112th Street. Please call ahead if you plan to participate. Duke NY participates on the 4th Sunday of each month from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
