Duke NY - NYC Hoops Watch Kickoff

Celebrate the start of the Duke Men’s Basketball season with fellow alums on Tuesday, November 29, 9:00 - 11:30 (game time: 9:30 p.m.) at Brother Jimmy's BBQ in Union Square, as Duke takes on Ohio State in an exciting ACC/Big Ten Challenge! We will gather in our own private area and enjoy drink and food specials throughout the game - look for the Duke signs when you arrive. No reservations necessary; however, if you would like to book a table to ensure you have a seat, please email duke@brotherjimmys.com with your name and the number in your party.

Duke NY - Volunteer at a Soup Kitchen

Help staff the soup kitchen and feed the hungry at St. John the Divine, Amsterdam Avenue at 112th Street. Please call ahead if you plan to participate. Duke NY participates on the 4th Sunday of each month from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Join other Blue Devils every other month in discussing a new book, from the classics to the latest best sellers. Bring your thoughts, ideas and opinions on the latest selection. DCNY Book Club meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at The Cornell Club - New York (Tap Room or upstairs conference room, based upon number of RSVPs), 6 East 44th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues. Last year 130 Duke alumni helped more than 300 adults and children in the Harlem community learn more about healthy living and staying active and we hope to increase both Duke and community participation this year.
